Jean Louise Reaux Allen, a resident of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born May 21, 1936 in Jackson, LA and was 80 years of age. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Morris L. Allen; son, Ned J. Allen and wife, Dino; daughters, Leah Chidester and husband, Calvin and Pauline Covington and husband, Don; 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Ned Louis Reaux and Ida Louise Dugas Reaux; and a great granddaughter, Margaret BreAnna White. Visitation will be held at Community Baptist Church, Highway 1043, Greensburg, from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
