Thomas “Milkman” Arthur Holton, a resident of Amite passed away at 3:44 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at his home. He was born May 10, 1958, in Amite and was 58 years of age. He was a member of Cooper’s Chapel Methodist Church. He was a farmer for 30 years and a member of APA for over 20 years. He loved his 2 girls and his grandchildren unconditionally and was a friend to all who crossed his path. He is survived by his friend and mother of his children, Elizabeth Furlow Holton; daughters, Nickole Holton Barnes and boyfriend, Gary Byrd and Tiphani Holton Foy; 4 grandchildren, Krysta Holton, Trevor Barnes, Allyson Barnes and Kasyn Foy; mother, Ruth Voight Holton; sister, Amilou Holton McDonald, and 3 brothers, Preston Holton and wife, Kat, Dale Holton and wife, LeeAnn, and Ronald Holton and wife, Cindy. Preceded in death by his father, Andrew Jackson Holton; grandparents, Stewart and Lucille Bass Voight and Flemon and Amy Walker Holton; niece, Amy Holton and son in law, Ricky Barnes; Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 PM until 9 PM, Thursday, and from 8 AM until religious services at 11 AM Friday, August 5, 2016.
