Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Cooper, 69, of the East Fork community in Kentwood, passed away, Monday, September 5, 2016 at her residence.  
She was born September 6, 1946 in Canton, MS.  She was the daughter of Jessie and Margaret Elizabeth Renfroe Prine.
She was a homemaker and a member of East Fork Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Daphne  Elizabeth Cooper;  a great-grandchild,  Aiden Ross; a brother, Billy Prine and a sister, Betty Jean Booty and husband, Woody.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Orea Cooper of East Fork; one son, Patrick Cooper of Walker, LA; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and A.W. “Buddy” O’Quinn, Jr. of Walker, LA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Marsha Prine of Osyka, Don and Kathleen Prine of Kentwood and Ricky and Kathy Prine of Ponchatoula, LA; a sister-in-law, Tinka Prine of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Brittany O’Quinn, Brianna O’Quinn, Donald Wilkinson and Pamela McMorris and three great-grandchildren, Alaina Ross, Nataleigh Wilkinson and Jace Wilkinson.
Visitation is Wednesday at East Fork Baptist Church, 17280 Hwy. 1055, Kentwood, LA 70444 from 5PM until 9PM and Thursday from 9AM until services at 11AM with Rev. Mike Shumock, Rev. Joe Ball, Rev. A.W. O’Quinn, Sr. and Rev. Brock Burch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Prine, Mitchell Prine, Phillip Kerbow, Daniel Prine, Dustin Kerbow and Eugene Tackett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Roy Womack and Vince Estes.
