James A. “Jimbo” Lee, a resident of Amite, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home. He was born May 23, 1967 in Hammond and was 49 years of age. He worked at Amite Livestock for almost 10 years, where he was better known as “Cowboy.” He loved horses, cows and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Katelyn Robertson and husband, Allen; 2 grandchildren, Bambie and Kaston Robertson; mother, Mary Lou Ardillo Lee; 2 brothers, Chris and Justin Lee; aunts, Georgia Yarborough and Ethel Felker and husband, Neal and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by his father, Reuben A. Lee; grandparents, Tony and Mary Ardillo and Hardy and Zylpha Allen Lee and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016. Services were conducted by Pastor Mervin Strother.
