Sharon Rohner Needham, a resident of Amite, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born March 21, 1948 in Amite and was 68 years of age. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sherri Bass Harlan and Shanna Bass Rutland and husband, Walter; 5 grandchildren, Harley Joseph Harlan, Jr., Ethan Matthew Harlan, Blaine Gilbert Rutland, Connor James Rutland, and Logan Noel Rutland; sister, Linda Rohner. Preceded in death by husbands, Noel Gilbert Bass and Jewel Y. Needham; parents, Clyde and Ruth Rohner; brothers, Charles Wayne Rohner and Jimmy Rohner. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 11:00 a.m. until religious services at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Services conducted by Rev. Byron Humphrey.
