Rodney Paul Miller, a resident of Amite, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home. He was born September 17, 1958 in Pittsfield, MA and was 58 years of age. He served proudly in the U. S. Air Force. He is survived by his loving partner, Vera King; two sons, Daryl Miller and Amanda Miller, and Ronnie Miller and Jennifer Thibodaux; step-daughter, Lucy Baker and Scott Baker; two step-sons, Edward Reynolds and Brittany Guidry, John King and Brooke Peel; four grandchildren, Skyler, Kaitlyn, Nyomie, and Makayla; six step-grandchildren, Dustan Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds and Tiffany Reynolds, Katie Wagner, Cameron Baker, Courtney Baker and Sylar Peel; father, James Miller; two sisters, Nancy Thompson and Sam Thompson; Darlene Spyker and John Spyker; 4 brothers, James Miller, Jr. and Diane Miller, Gary Miller and Cyndi Miller, Roy Miller, and Wayne Miller. Preceded in death by mother, Marion E. Mullett Miller; sister, Carol Ann Miller; grandparents, Archie Miller, Tincey Miller, and Elizabeth Provost. Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Services conducted by Rev. Joel Hines.
