Dan Joseph DiVittorio, Jr., a resident of Independence, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born November 13, 1961 in Baton Rouge and was 55 years of age. His priority in life was his wife and his boys, when you saw one you saw all four. He is survived by his wife, Tara LaMarca DiVittorio; two sons, Dane Pascal DiVittorio (10) and Gage Dan DiVittorio (9); mother, Norma DiVittorio; sister, Lisa Camelo; sisters in law, Robin Davis and husband, Randy, and Dana Angelette and husband, Richard; brother in law, Jason LaMarca and wife, Elizabeth; father in law and mother in law, Pasquale and Gail LaMarca and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Dan Joseph DiVittorio and his sister, Denise DiVittorio. Visitation was held at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Services conducted by Fr. Howard Adkins.
