Rachel B. "Sis" Cox

Rachel B. "Sis" Cox, 80, a resident of Greensburg, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2016. She was a loving Mother, Maw-Maw, Sister, Aunt, and a friend to many. Rachel is survived by her sister, Velma Anthony; her daughters, Brenda Castillo (Rodger), Angelia Lagasse (Clint), Deb Lea (Kernan); and daughter-in-law, Tina Cox; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Velma Bennett; her brother, Herman Albert Bennett; her husband, Winfred Andrew Cox; her son, Kenneth Cox; and her granddaughter, Erin Rachel Lea. At age 12, having put her faith in Jesus, she devoted the rest of her life to growing in Christ and continually serving and helping others. Visitation was held at First Baptist Church in Greensburg until religious services at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg, LA.
