“I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race and I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7 Sherida Alayne Coble Bridges, age 68 of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on December 14,2016 surrounded by family in Hattiesburg, MS. Sherida had a wonderful life, growing up she traveled around the world because her father was in the Navy. At the age of 18 she married her husband, Donald and helped take over the family farm in Gillsburg, Ms. Sherida had many talents, from working in a hospital, to helping coordinate weddings, being able to paint anything her mind would see. Her most loved talent was her voice. From the age of 3,singing in church with her grandmother Lois, Sherida would say her voice was truly a gift from God. No matter how tough life got, even through the cancer, she would always say that God surely blessed her. Sherida was very active in church through the years. Anyone around her could see her love of her family and her love for her Lord. Sherida is survived by her husband, Donald Bridges; daughters, Katina (K.C.)and Dino McDaniel of Lafayette, and Joni and Paul Elliott of Hattiesburg; one son, Beau Bridges of Kentwood.
